Simple Sizing Ideas
     Riri zippers are easily shortened at the top
  1. Open the zipper to position the pull as far away from the top as possible
     
  2. Remove the top stops with cutter pliers 1
     
  3. Remove equal number of teeth down both sides to desired length with cutter pliers
     
  4. Re-attach top stops, crimping in place with flat nose pliers 2
     
  5. Cut off excess tape
          
  Alternative to removing teeth
  1. Open the zipper to position the pull as far away from the top as possible
      
  2. Insert the zipper into the garment, extending the excess top into the facing area
      
  3. Fold the top tape over or bar tack over the teeth for extra security before cutting off the excess tape
      
  4. Enclose the top of the zipper in the facing before returning the pull to the top
